How time flies! It seems that it was only yesterday that I gave birth to my second daughter. Now, she is almost one.

We will not be celebrating it in the manner we celebrated my eldest daughter’s 1st birthday.  But we will definitely celebrate it to commemorate her first year of life and to thank the Lord for all His goodness to her life.

I have started the preparations for Daughter E’s birthday. She’ll have a Tinker Bell theme. I am so fortunate that there are so many Tinker Bell images online. I didn’t have the hard time creating her birthday invitation.

For her costume, I’m thinking of this style.

Here in our place, there are only few good dress-maker.  I am so thankful that the dress-maker I know accepted the project. She often turn me down because she has so many prior tasks. But this morning when I went to her place with my daughters, I didn’t have to plea. She immediately yes to me!  I was so glad and relieved.  My secret? I’ve been praying for favor in her sight for 2 nights. And God answered my request with a YES. So this afternoon, I’ll visit the downtown to find the fabrics needed.

As her cake, I found a local bakeshop, the Ramirez Cakes and Pastries, which creates theme cakes like Tinker Bell. The price of their cakes are not too expensive and fits my budget. My only concern is the taste because they don’t have any cake which I can taste when I visit them. By visiting their Facebook account, I learned that it has a branch in the newly opened mall in the downtown, the Luisa Galleria. I might visit that the shop this afternoon to taste their cake.

Only few more tasks then the “birthday party” is all set :)
